Sideburn laser hair removal: a small area and a short session

Side whiskers are our smallest and cheapest area — €20, about 30 minutes. A good way to try laser before a bigger course.

A laser hair-removal treatment — the handpiece on warm-lit skin

Side whiskers are the smallest area on our price list: €20, about 30 minutes. That is exactly why it is the most common way to try laser for the first time — small outlay, short session, and a real answer to how your skin responds.

Which area is actually treated?

The sideburn area is the growth in front of the ear, which on many people extends down onto the cheek. People usually want it corrected when the line is uneven or reaches further than they would like. If the jawline or upper lip bothers you too, full face at €55 is the better buy — separate areas add up to more.

Why start with a small area?

Because it answers two questions no article can: how tolerable the sensation is for you, and how your particular hair responds. Most people describe it as a light elastic-band flick or a warm scratch, but sensitivity varies and the face is more sensitive than the legs.

After two or three sessions you will see whether the hair is coming back finer and slower. That is an honest basis for deciding whether a larger course is worth it.

How many sessions does it take?

Facial areas usually need eight or more, four to six weeks apart, because facial hair growth is hormone-driven. On a small area that is a manageable cost — but do not expect one €20 session to do anything permanent. That is true of every area, and it is explained in how many sessions you need.

Who is it not for?

If the hair there is blonde or grey, the laser has nothing to grip and we will say so at the consultation. We also do not treat recently tanned or self-tanned skin, or work over tattoos and permanent make-up.

To book, see the laser hair removal page. If you are considering several areas at once, the packages usually work out cheaper.
