Sideburn laser hair removal: a small area and a short session
Side whiskers are our smallest and cheapest area — €20, about 30 minutes. A good way to try laser before a bigger course.

Side whiskers are the smallest area on our price list: €20, about 30 minutes. That is exactly why it is the most common way to try laser for the first time — small outlay, short session, and a real answer to how your skin responds.
Which area is actually treated?
The sideburn area is the growth in front of the ear, which on many people extends down onto the cheek. People usually want it corrected when the line is uneven or reaches further than they would like. If the jawline or upper lip bothers you too, full face at €55 is the better buy — separate areas add up to more.
Why start with a small area?
Because it answers two questions no article can: how tolerable the sensation is for you, and how your particular hair responds. Most people describe it as a light elastic-band flick or a warm scratch, but sensitivity varies and the face is more sensitive than the legs.
After two or three sessions you will see whether the hair is coming back finer and slower. That is an honest basis for deciding whether a larger course is worth it.
How many sessions does it take?
Facial areas usually need eight or more, four to six weeks apart, because facial hair growth is hormone-driven. On a small area that is a manageable cost — but do not expect one €20 session to do anything permanent. That is true of every area, and it is explained in how many sessions you need.
What the first visit looks like
The first visit starts with a free consultation and a test pulse — a single flash on the skin so you know the sensation before committing to anything. Preparation is simple: shave the area 12–24 hours before the session, do not wax or pluck for four weeks beforehand (the laser needs the root in place), and stay off sun and self-tanner for two weeks.
On the day you get protective glasses, the specialist marks out the area, and the actual lasering of a sideburn takes minutes — the half hour includes settling in and aftercare advice. The skin may look lightly pink for a few hours afterwards, like gentle sun. For the first 24–48 hours skip the sauna and sweaty training, use a fragrance-free moisturiser and put SPF on the area — this patch of skin faces the sun every day. The details are in our aftercare guide.
Between sessions, one thing startles people: the treated hairs shed over one to two weeks, and at first glance that can look like growth. Do not pluck what remains — shaving is fine, plucking is not. And if it is really the upper lip that bothers you, upper lip laser is an equally small, low-commitment place to start — lip and chin together are €45 a session.
One practical upside of a 30-minute area: it fits around a normal day. We are open Mon–Sat 9–19 at Narva mnt 4 in central Tallinn, so a session before work, in a lunch break or between errands is realistic — no half day off needed, and with sessions 4–6 weeks apart the visits stay rare.
Who is it not for?
If the hair there is blonde or grey, the laser has nothing to grip and we will say so at the consultation. We also do not treat recently tanned or self-tanned skin, or work over tattoos and permanent make-up.
To book, see the laser hair removal page. If you are considering several areas at once, the packages usually work out cheaper.
