BioRePeel or microneedling — or both at once?

Two different ways to trigger renewal, and one combination that does both. Which suits your skin, and when the combination makes sense.

These two treatments arrive at a similar result by very different routes, and a third option does both at once. Prices: BioRePeel €80, microneedling €125, the combination €100.

How do they differ?

BioRePeel is chemical: an acid blend works on and just under the surface, with no needles and no downtime. Microneedling is mechanical: fine needles create controlled micro-channels that trigger the body’s own repair response and collagen production.

Simply put: BioRePeel renews the surface, microneedling builds the structure. The first gives glow, the second changes texture.

How much downtime?

BioRePeel has no downtime — mild redness settles within the hour and make-up is fine the same day. After microneedling the skin is red for 24–48 hours, and some people get light dryness and flaking for a couple of days.

That is often the deciding factor. If you have an event the day after tomorrow, the answer is BioRePeel. If you have a week, microneedling is the stronger choice.

Which gives the better result?

It depends what you are improving. Dullness, uneven tone, mild dryness → BioRePeel. Pore size, fine lines, post-acne scarring and skin density → microneedling, as a course of three or four. There is a separate microneedling guide.

When is the combination worth it?

The combined session at €100 does both: BioRePeel renews the surface while microneedling stimulates collagen in the same visit. It is a good choice if you want both effects without two separate appointments — and it costs less than microneedling alone, because the working depth is more moderate.

Honestly: if your main concern is texture and scarring, a dedicated microneedling course is stronger. The combination is a balance, not a maximum.

Who should avoid them?

Neither is suitable during pregnancy or breastfeeding, or with active acne or inflammation, cold sores, or a course of isotretinoin. Microneedling is also unsuitable with a tendency to keloid scarring. All three are covered in our BioRePeel article.
