Laser hair removal in Tallinn: how to choose and what happens on your first visit
What to ask before booking, how a first session runs, and how to choose a clinic in Tallinn — without the sales pitch.

There is no shortage of laser hair removal in Tallinn, and prices differ by a factor of several. This article does not try to talk you into coming to us — it sets out what to ask anyone, and what a first session actually involves.
What to ask before booking
- Is there a consultation and patch test before the course? Without one, nobody knows how your skin will respond.
- Which device is used, and does it suit your skin tone? For darker skin, Nd:YAG is the safer choice.
- Is the price per session or per course? This is the most common misunderstanding.
- What happens if the hair does not respond — do you get an honest answer, or the next package?
How does a first session run?
We start by assessing skin and hair and doing a small patch test to see the reaction. The area must be shaved clean 24 hours beforehand — the laser targets the follicle under the skin, not the hair on top. The session itself is short: side whiskers about 30 minutes, the complete set up to two hours.
Most people describe the sensation as a light elastic-band flick. Mild redness afterwards is normal and usually settles within the hour. Full instructions are in our laser aftercare guide.
When is the best time to start?
Autumn and winter, because treated skin must not be tanned and sun has to be avoided afterwards. Start in October and the course is done by summer. There is more on this in when to start laser.
How should you compare prices?
Compare the course, not the single session, and check exactly what an area covers — "bikini" means different things in different places. Ours start at €20 for a small facial area, and the complete set is €100 a session; it is all set out in laser hair removal packages and on the price list.
Where to find us
We are at Narva maantee 4, room 304, in the city centre — a few minutes from Viru keskus. The consultation is free, and its purpose is to establish whether laser suits your hair type at all. If it does not, we say so there, not after six sessions.
