How often should you get a facial? A specialist’s guide
Once a month? Once a season? How often you really need a facial depends on your skin and your goals — here is a simple guide from our Tallinn studio.

It is the question every client asks at the end of a treatment: how often should I come back? The honest answer is "it depends" — but here is a clear guide based on your skin and goals.
The general rule: every 4 weeks
Your skin renews itself roughly every 28 days. A facial every 4 weeks works with that cycle, keeping skin clear, hydrated and glowing. For general maintenance and healthy skin, monthly is the sweet spot.
When you might come more often
- Active breakouts or congestion — every 2–3 weeks for a while
- A course of treatments (peels, microneedling) on a set schedule
- Before a wedding or event — a planned run of sessions
When less often is fine
If your skin is generally happy and you have a solid home routine, every 6–8 weeks maintains results well. Consistency matters more than frequency — a regular rhythm beats occasional one-offs.
Home care does the heavy lifting
A facial is a reset, not a replacement for daily care. Cleansing, SPF and the right actives at home are what keep results between visits. We always send you off with a simple, realistic routine.
Every skin is different
Age, skin type, hormones and the season all shift what your skin needs. The best plan comes from a quick look in person — we will tell you honestly how often you actually need to come, not how often fills a calendar.
