Classic Facial vs Customized Facial: What’s the Difference?

A classic facial is a fixed protocol; a customized facial is built around your skin. What each means, why our studio chose the customized route, and what that changes for you.

Serums used in treatments, held by the specialist

The "classic facial" is one of the beauty world’s most enduring terms — and one of its vaguest. What exactly does it mean, how does it differ from a customized facial, and which should you pick? The honest answer is simpler than you’d think.

What is a classic facial?

A classic facial is a fixed protocol: cleansing, steaming, exfoliation, (often manual) extraction, mask, cream. Every client gets essentially the same treatment — a decades-refined, reliable format whose strengths are predictability and price.

What does a customized facial do differently?

A customized facial starts with a skin analysis, and only then are the steps chosen: enzymatic or mechanical exfoliation (microdermabrasion), ultrasonic or aqua-facial cleansing, and the mask and serum that match your skin’s current state. The sequence looks similar — the difference is what the steps answer to: the protocol, or your skin.

Which is "better"?

Honestly: for normal, trouble-free skin, a good classic facial delivers a perfectly decent result. The customized route wins when skin has character — sensitivity, combination dryness and oiliness, pigment, congestion in different zones. Our studio chose the customized format because we have yet to meet two identical skins; everything good about the classic facial lives inside it.

Frequently asked questions

Is a customized facial more expensive?

Not with us — customization is our standard, not a surcharge. Prices are in the price list.

How do I know what my skin needs?

You don’t have to — that is the skin analysis’s job, and every treatment starts with one. You show up; we look and explain.

Is it a good choice for a first-ever facial?

It’s the best choice for a first facial: you immediately learn what your skin is actually like and what it benefits from — not just a treatment, but a starting point.

For a facial chosen by your skin rather than by a protocol, book a time — the analysis, the explanation and an honest recommendation are always included.
