Back Facial: The Treatment for the Skin You Can’t Reach
Back skin is thick, oily and impossible to reach — which is exactly why congestion and "bacne" happen there. What a back facial includes, who it suits, and why it is our most underrated treatment.

You see your face in the mirror every day — your back, practically never. Yet back skin has some of the most active oil glands on the body, and it is the one area you physically can’t cleanse properly yourself. That is the whole idea of the back facial: the same thorough care your face gets, for skin that has been waiting years for its turn.
Why back skin needs its own treatment
The back’s sebaceous glands are large and active, and the skin is thicker than facial skin. Sweat, rubbing clothes and gym bags create an environment where pores clog easily — blackheads, rough texture and periodic "bacne" follow. A home routine simply can’t reach, and shower gel doesn’t do deep-cleansing work.
What a back facial includes
- Cleansing and steaming — pores are opened, just as in a facial.
- Exfoliation — thicker back skin tolerates more effective exfoliation than the face.
- Deep cleansing — gentle clearing of congestion and blackheads.
- Mask and hydration — a calming finish that leaves skin smooth and soft.
On our menu the back facial exists as its own service and inside the face and back package — the latter is a full reset where both areas get cared for in one visit.
Who is it especially for?
Anyone prone to bacne or congestion; anyone with an open-back dress or a beach holiday coming up; athletes whose skin lives in a cycle of sweat and friction; and honestly — anyone who wants to feel fresh in the one area they never see.
Frequently asked questions
How long does it take?
About 45 minutes; in the package with a facial, plan for up to two hours.
Does it help with bacne?
For mild to moderate congestion, yes — regular cleansing plus a home routine keeps skin clear. For severe inflammatory acne we will honestly recommend a dermatologist’s view as well.
How often should it be done?
The same rhythm as the face: every 4–8 weeks, more often at first for problem skin.
If your back has waited longer than you can remember, book a time — or go straight for the face + back package and refresh both at once.
