Choosing a Facial in Tallinn: How to Find the Right One for Your Skin

Tallinn is full of options — but which facial actually suits your skin? We explain how to choose by skin type and what to expect from your first visit.

Search for a facial in Tallinn and you will find dozens of options: express treatments in shopping centres, long spa menus, small studios and countless treatment names. How do you navigate it all? In this guide we explain how to choose a facial based on your skin rather than the advertising — and what a first visit should actually look like.

How to choose a facial in Tallinn by skin type

The most important principle is simple: a good facial starts with a skin analysis, not a menu. The same "glow treatment" can suit one skin and irritate another. Before booking, think about what bothers you most:

  • Dryness and tightness — you need a hydrating, restoring treatment, not aggressive exfoliation.
  • Oiliness and blackheads — deep cleansing and gentle exfoliation help, but too much aggression can actually stimulate oil production.
  • Dull, tired skin — a refreshing exfoliation and massage bring the skin back to life.
  • Sensitivity and redness — look for a calming treatment and a cosmetologist who asks first what your skin tolerates.

If you cannot identify your own skin type, that is completely normal — this is exactly why our customized facial always begins with an analysis, and the content of the treatment is decided only after it.

What does a first visit look like?

A good first visit never starts straight with the procedure. First we talk: what bothers you, which products you use, whether your skin reacts to anything. Then the cosmetologist examines your cleansed skin and explains what she recommends and why. Only then comes the treatment itself — cleansing, gentle exfoliation if needed, a mask, hydration and a calming massage. You leave knowing what your skin actually needs, not just with a list of products.

Small studio or big spa — what is the difference?

Both have their place. A large spa is great when you want a full day of relaxation with saunas and pools. The strength of a small studio is continuity and personal attention: you are welcomed by the same person every time, someone who remembers your skin, sees how it changes from season to season and adjusts the treatment accordingly. That is exactly how our studio in central Tallinn works — at a calm pace, never on a conveyor belt.

Which facials does our studio offer?

We deliberately keep the menu compact, so that every treatment is genuinely thought through. The core option is the customized facial, whose content is built on a skin analysis — it is almost always the right first visit. When the skin needs deeper renewal, for example because of pigmentation, acne marks or fine lines, BioRePeel with microneedling comes into play. And if you simply want to properly unwind, the face and back treatment combines two procedures into one calm two-hour visit.

If you cannot choose between them, do not choose at all — just book a time and we will decide together on the spot, once your skin has been looked at.

What does a facial cost?

In Tallinn, a proper facial mostly falls between 40 and 100 euros, depending on content and duration. Our customized facial lasts 75 minutes and starts from €45.50; if you would like a more indulgent experience, the face & back bliss combines two treatments in one visit. Price is not the only criterion — always ask what the treatment includes.

Frequently asked questions

How often should I get a facial?

For most skins, a rhythm of every 4–6 weeks works well, because that is roughly how long the skin renewal cycle takes. If that is not possible, a seasonal facial is still better than nothing.

Can a facial help with acne?

Regular professional cleansing and the right home routine support the skin noticeably, but for more severe acne we honestly recommend a dermatologist as well — a beauty studio does not replace a doctor.

What should I do or avoid before a facial?

Come without make-up if you can, or allow time to remove it here. Avoid strong exfoliating products (acids, retinol) for 3–5 days before, and active sunbathing for a week before your treatment.

Is a facial suitable for sensitive skin?

Yes — with sensitive skin, a tailored approach matters most of all. Mention your sensitivity when booking and we will choose products and techniques accordingly.

If you would like your skin to be truly looked at, book an appointment for our customized facial — we start with an analysis and move at your pace.
